USWeb Foundation
From the beginning USWeb has strived to be a different kind organization. From the quality or our work, to the way we communicate with our clients, USWeb has always tried to innovate and exceed client, and our own, expectations.
To that end, USWeb has tried to be thoughtful about our place in the world. With success comes a responsibility to give back. So USWeb created the USWeb Foundation to help structure our our goals and expectations for ourselves as a company that wants to contribute to the world.
5% of all USWeb profits go back into our foundation efforts. And in the past years USWeb has done some great things. We have provided scholarships to young people in this country, built a school in Cambodia, and provided thousands of life-saving vaccinations to children all over the world.
Our commitment doesn't end at donating money. We have worked hard to limit our carbon footprint by using virtual offices, cloud computing, purchasing carbon offsets and only purchasing computers that are Energy Star complaint and meet EPEAT Gold standards.
We also support non-profit organizations by providing free web hosting, web design and search services when we can.
We are proud to be a productive part of the world that has given so much to us. And we look forward to increasing our efforts in the future.
